OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Hello, Fellow Eco-Warriors!
We are closely monitoring COVID-19 and the guidance and recommendations provided by state and federal agencies.
The Reusable Rebel, LLC is still going strong! Everything is handmade in the homes of “Expert-Level Social Distancers”. We were doing that months before it was “the cool thing to do”!
How Will This Affect You?
As of right now, nothing has changed. Orders are currently going out as normal.
All products are made in the middle of nowhere in Alabama and our supply chain has not yet been disrupted too much.
We know this sItuation evolves by the hour and our status may change at any moment. We will do our best to update this page if anything affecting order times changes.
Many Items Are On Sale!
We know many of our customers have had a change in employment status or are experiencing a paper product shortage. We hope that people will give our eco-friendly swaps a try and find that is is simple enough to continue after this virus has ended its disruption.
Over the next few weeks, we will be replenishing the shop with many items on sale in an effort to ease this transition.
A Message To Other Small Businesses:
As an independent business ourselves, we know firsthand just how challenging this time is for the small businesses. Personally, we have felt some anxiety at times, but we love seeing people curious about the sustainable products we offer and watching our community come together. Yes, we are socially distant, but we are not alone and that is a strong and comforting thought.
We’ve also made it a priority to remind ourselves about what we are grateful for right now: the spreading of awareness about our environment, our incredible team, our customers who remain committed to environmetal progress despite the coronavirus, extended time with our families, and the confidence that in six months we will be stronger and better as a result of our work today.
We believe in supporting other small business usually, but find it especially important during these times. Help Our Cause!
We are still in the startup phase of business and this virus shifted our business plan a bit. We are having a hard time obtaining supplies in bulk (to save money, shipping emissions, and to make more products to keep up with demand).
We also do not have the ability to pay for advertising to spread the knowledge about
eco-friendly living and sustainable swaps at the moment.
